Don Matías en el homenaje de su abuelito

Don Matías no se pierde una. Esta vez participó en el homenaje que le rindieron a su abuelito Bayardo por sus 45 años de sobresaliente carrera como cirujano. El Hospital Centro Médico, en donde por cierto nació Matías, le rindió el merecido tributo dedicándole la IX Semana Científica. Matías, nuevamente, estuvo en el centro del evento, celebrando con su abuelito y la familia. Quizá siga los pasos de su abuelo...

Matías doesn´t miss a thing. This time he participated in the special tribute held in honor of his grandfather Bayardo for completing 45 years as a surgeon. The "Centro Medico" hospital, where in fact Matías was born, dedicated the IX scientific week to Grampy Bayardo. Once again, Matías was in the middle of everything, celebrating with his grandfather and family. Perhaps he´ll be inspired to follow in his grandfather´s footsteps... no pressure of course...

La primera parranda de Don Matías

Don Matías se la echó grande en la boda de Mijanou y Stephen. Asistió tanto al "rehearsal dinner", una cena que tradicionalmente se realiza en familia un dia antes de la boda, como a la propia boda, en donde escuchó antentamente a la banda de jazz que tocó toda la noche. Además, el popular chicuelo pasó de brazos en brazos todo el tiempo. ¡Regaladote el nene!

Matías partied it up in Steve and Mijanou´s wedding. He not only went to the wedding but also to the rehearsal dinner where he enviously looked on as everyone devoured their lobsters. Although he missed the actual vows (hunger called) at the wedding, he did enjoy the jazz band plus all the attention he got going from one person to the next (even if his grandmother did hog as much time as she could with the little guy).

El primer viaje de Don Matías

¡Don Matías ya tiene tarjeta de viajero frecuente! Su primer viaje en avión fue a Portland, Maine, al casamiento de su tio Stephen con su ahora tia Mijanou. Bebetino se portó super bien en el avión, de ida y vuelta. A pesar de las casi diez horas de viaje y espera en el trayecto Guatemala-Miami-Boston y luego dos horas más en carro de Boston a Portlan, el chiquilín no lloró una sola vez. ¡Es todo un viajero frecuente!

The little man has his passport stamped and has opened his frequent flyer account. He handled the ten hour plane trip to Boston (including layover in Miami) and the car ride to Portland like a pro. The only one who cried during the whole trip was his father who was upset over the amount of taxes he had to pay on the little guy´s ticket....
